Deltapump and Stryvo Strengthen Their Collaboration
In 2022, Deltapump acquired new owners. With new goals and a closer partnership with Stryvo, operations have accelerated, and the company has reconnected with its rich traditions.
– There are several similarities between Stryvo and Deltapump. We both have extensive experience and local workshops here in Norway. For us, it was important to revive the old traditions and bring production back home when we took over the company, Remi Hansen, General Manager of Deltapump, explains.
With rising raw material prices and tough international competition, shifting production has not been easy. Sten Olav Olsen, Project Manager at Stryvo and Deltapump’s customer liaison, is impressed by how Remi and his brothers have managed to get things running more smoothly:
– Deltapump has taken a leap of faith, where many others wouldn’t dare. I think it’s fantastic that they’ve brought production back to Norway. They believe in their strategy — and it’s delivering results.
Fast and Reliable Delivery
With over a hundred years of experience in Norwegian industry, Deltapump’s gear pumps are well established. Their collaboration with Stryvo spans about a tenth of that time. They supply pumps to most sectors of the industry, especially aquaculture and maritime, where fluid transport is often required. Based in Haugesund, Deltapump maintains close communication and flexibility with Stryvo despite the hundreds of kilometers between their office and Stryvo’s workshop in Oslo.
– When our customers are calling urgently, it’s such a relief to know that Stryvo is reliable. Deliveries arrive quickly, and there’s never any compromise on quality! Remi says.
He also highlights John Nymoen, Stryvo’s gear expert, as a key player in the successful partnership:
– John is passionate and truly loves his work. I can hear him smiling through the phone when we talk.
Improving the Partnership
Going forward, Stryvo and Deltapump will work more systematically, planning to evaluate current operations and their collaboration. Both parties look forward to continuing their targeted efforts and contributing to a strong Norwegian industry.
– We have customer relationships at Deltapump that are older than I am,” Remi says with a chuckle, before concluding: “Now we’ll work even more closely with Stryvo and look at how we can become even more efficient. I’m really looking forward to it.
