Stryvo was named Company of the Year at NordfjordTreffet 2026
During the NordfjordTreffet 2026 event, Stryvo AS was awarded the title of Company of the Year. This is a highly regarded award in a business community characterized by strong growth and many capable players.

NordfjordTreffet is the region’s largest networking and recruitment fair, bringing together companies, students, and partners for a full day of engaging content. This year’s event was held in Svelgen, in the municipality of Bremanger.
In addition to Stryvo, four other companies were nominated for the Company of the Year award: Simona Stadpipe, Hjelpemiddelpartner, Knutholmen, and LocalHost AS. The nominees represented a broad range of industries: From manufacturing and technology to seafood, digital services, and welfare solutions. This highlights both the high level and the breadth of the competition Stryvo was measured against.
– It says a lot about the standard in our region. We know there are many companies doing an impressive job in Nordfjord, so simply being considered among them is a great achievement alone,” says Stryvo’s CEO, Torgeir Aarøen.

Development and Commitment
In the jury’s justification, Stryvo’s long history and ability to evolve are highlighted. The company is praised for combining “traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology and forward-looking innovation,” and for building a strong professional environment with positive regional impact.
With roots dating all the way back to Stryn Vognfabrikk in 1947, Stryvo has grown into a modern industrial company delivering complex solutions to demanding markets, both nationally and internationally. The jury also points to the company’s ability to adapt and grow while maintaining its strong local engagement.
– This award is not about a single achievement, but about the collective effort built up over time, says Aarøen, and continues: – It is our people who make this possible. They do an outstanding job every single day.
Motivation for the Road Ahead
For Stryvo, the award primarily represents motivation and confirms that continuous investment in expertise and quality is noticed, even beyond the walls of its own production facilities.
– Knowing that what we deliver is seen and valued within our local community gives us both pride and motivation to continue our work, Aarøen concludes.
