Innvik Fruktlager SA: Efficient Utilization of Site Area
When Innvik Fruktlager SA’s application to build a new facility on their own property was denied, they had to think completely differently. Before the new season, they needed to meet increased demand and storage needs without being able to use more ground space.

The solution was a new floor added to the main building and an upgrade to the existing structure, providing an additional 650 sqm of storage space. Now, packaging can be stored in its own dedicated floor, and new gates have made it easier to transport goods directly into the cold storage. Innvik Fruktlager SA was able to face a new fruit season with more efficient operations and better logistics.
Background
Innvik Fruktlager SA is an organization that sells fruit, berries, and vegetables from its producers to end-users all over the country. After the 2023 season, they saw an increased need to streamline the work with storage and logistics of goods.
«The team at Stryvo has really gone above and beyond! We are very pleased with the communication throughout the process and how the result turned out. It’s especially fun that we’ve preserved and can still see the contours of the old roof.»
Anita Roset, daglig leder i Innvik Fruktlager SA
The Solution
Parts of the existing building were covered with new construction, and a completely new floor was added to the main building. Several new gates were installed, both to the cold storage and on the second floor. Stryvo designed the building and supplied all the materials and assembly.
The Result
With the expansion, Innvik Fruktlager SA gained over 650 sqm of additional space. Previously, cardboard packaging had to be stored elsewhere. Now that it can be stored on the second floor, operations have become smoother. With the new gates, goods can be driven straight into the cold storage or easily transported up to the new floor.
