When Innvik Fruktlager SA was not able to build a new storage on their property, they had to find another way to expand their existing premises. They found a creative solution through close collaboration with Stryvo.
Background
Innvik Fruktlager SA is an organization that sells fruit, berries, and vegetables from its producers to end-users all over Norway. After the 2023 season, they saw an increased need to streamline the work of storage and logistics of goods.
The Solution
Parts of the existing building were expanded with new construction, and an entirely new floor was built on the main building. Several new gates were installed on all floors. Stryvo designed the building and was the supplier of all the materials and assembly.
Results
With the expansion, Innvik Fruktlager SA has gained over 650 square meters of additional space. Previously, cardboard packaging had to be stored in a building on another property. Now that it can be stored on the second floor, the work has become more efficient. With the new gates, goods can be delivered directly into the storage rooms, or easily transported to the new floor.
What our customer says
"The team at Stryvo has really gone above and beyond! We are very pleased with the communication throughout the process and with the result. It's especially fun that we have preserved and can still see the contours of the old roof."
Anita Roset, General Manager of Innvik Fruktlager SA.
